Yuki Pearls closes at Bethesda Row

Yuki Pearls, a boutique selling imported Japanese pearls, has closed at Bethesda Row. The For Lease sign is back up at the former home of Capital Teas, located at 4806 Bethesda Avenue. You'll notice the removal of the Yuki Pearls sign has uncovered the old Capital Teas logo awning.

Of course it's going to fail with a name like "Yucky".

Duh...

I’m pretty sure this was primarily caused by the the fact that MoCo did not legally require an urban cinema at the Apex site.

I tried driving to Yuki Pearls last weekend, but I ran out of gas because Eastham's had closed.

Anna at 7:31, if you've ever seen the historical documentary, the 1988 Batman, Bruce Wayne's mother was murdered and her pearls snatched from her body. Where was the family coming directly from? The movies! Historically, there is a large correlation between movie goers and pearl purchasing

@ 8:27 - wonder if Dyer ever visited the happy ending places on St Elmo back in the day? I know he isn't seeing the Russians near the old police station, they scare him.

8:56 AM tell me more about those Russians.

Looking for options in the aftermath of the Bethesda Court Motel closure.

Saith Dyer:

"Deleting your troll comments and closing the comment section. Hopefully you realize that researching my family members and making threats each get you 2 years in federal prison, when your identity is finally exposed. Enjoy Rikers Island."

As usual, deleting inconvenient questions and statements of fact, then retroactively labeling them "defamatory" and "threatening".

Also, "Rikers Island" is not "federal prison", idiot. It belongs to New York City.

People, people-- how did a simple report on preparations for an expected snowfall turn into. . . this?
I don't agree with some of the political content here, either, but. . . damn.

8:03: I know that dumbass, but I'm referring to the type of prison facility I hope you spend your 4+ years in after your identity is revealed.
