Coffee Republic "coming soon" to downtown Bethesda (Photos)

Coming-soon signage has been installed in the windows of the future Coffee Republic coffee shop, which will be in the ground floor of the Bethesda Place apartments at 7701 Woodmont Avenue. The shop be connected to the adjacent Lidl grocery store. All of Coffee Republic's globally-sourced beans are roasted at its flagship Mooresville, North Carolina location. In addition to signature coffee drinks, their shops also serve a variety of baked goods, wraps, quiche, and breakfast burritos. Construction is now underway, as evidenced by the Tyvek wrap on the storefront.

I accidentally stumbled upon this gem at their King Farm location and was wowed by how amazing their coffee was. I’m from Europe and it’s been hard to find decent coffee in Bethesda, I’m really excited for this new addition!

This isn't going to last. I was in lidl yesterday and there was maybe 3 people in there... and it was around rush hour. The food quality sucks.

Lidl is awesome you clown troll, every time I am in there, a line forms at the frozen pizza aisle with full baskets & screaming kids distracting me from concentrating on my check-out transactions!

Lidl is such a terrible store. I’ve only been there a few times and it was practically empty.
