WMATA installing new bus shelters at Medical Center Metro in Bethesda

Transit agency WMATA is installing new bus shelters at the Medical Center Metro station in Bethesda. The installation is being staggered so that only two at a time will be closed for the switch. Affected bus routes will temporarily relocate to temporary stops. The new shelters will feature brighter lighting, better protection from weather, and accessibility upgrades.

Any word on public bathrooms or even portapotties? Hand washing stations?

I would travel on metro daily, an if you see a station owner and soda it was an emergency, they were to get you to one.
I’m doubting these will be installed.

I tried getting the bathroom key from a station manager, it's like pulling teeth!

I thought there was a bus shelter at 5250 Western Avenue NW
but it turned out to be just a homeless encampment.
