We do NOT need a traffic signal at the intersection - unless - the road continues to Little Falls. Washington Episcopal School has closed off the cut through that was extremely useful and now wants to have their cake and eat it too by slowing down River Road. There are many reasons that this development should not happen. Please do not allow this project to go forward.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28521945.post-75533758233592718002015-08-24T17:40:58.135-07:002015-08-24T17:40:58.135-07:00Maybe if they actually timed the sequential traffi...Maybe if they actually timed the sequential traffic lights for smooth traffic flow?
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28521945.post-44012023554099873002015-08-24T08:27:19.818-07:002015-08-24T08:27:19.818-07:00In regards to the trail use bridge - I have always...In regards to the trail use bridge - I have always wondered since the first day they built it whether or not they would put concrete stairs on the lower sections on each side of the bridge.

This way pedestrians along the sidewalk of River Road could quickly get to the bridge without having to go all the way down to where it begins. It would have to be on the lower sections and of course it would also create the issue of someone potentially walking up the steps and into the path of a cyclist/runners/etc..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28521945.post-58672864187808397972015-08-24T06:38:12.136-07:002015-08-24T06:38:12.136-07:00Could they put a service road running parallel to ...Could they put a service road running parallel to River Road, and then have only one traffic light? This is how they do it on Rockville Pike near Best Buy. You turn into the service road, then drive along that to turn into your destination.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
