TREE-TRIMMING

START OF THE
HOLIDAY SEASON
Another Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row Exclusive
Last night, less than 48 hours before the first potential snow of the holidays, Santa's helpers were bustling all about Bethesda Row. Large Christmas trees - including the main one on Bethesda Lane - were being erected and trimmed.
Cardboard boxes of trees, ornaments and "tree parts" were strewn about, turning Bethesda Lane into a giant living room. It was your typical home Christmas decorating process x10.
Now that Halloween is passed, it won't be long before Thanksgiving, Black Friday and December. With snow possibly on the way, and temperatures below freezing last night in Bethesda, it's beginning to look - and feel - a lot like Christmas at Bethesda Row.
Ugh...garish and unnecessary. Way too early in the year, and it's only going to get worse.
