BETHESDA METRO ELEVATOR REOPENING POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 4, 2013 (PHOTO)
According to WMATA, elevator service at the Bethesda Metro station will not be restored until January 4, a week later than promised.
Last night, I saw Metro employees working at the site (see photo below), but apparently it was not enough.
A real shame. Just last weekend I saw a person in a wheelchair outside the elevator while a passer-by tried to call Metro to get assistance.
