THREE CRIMES NEAR BETHESDA ROW LAST FRIDAY - BETHESDA CRIME UPDATE

Last Friday, January 18, was a busy day for law enforcement in Bethesda. According to crime data, several burglaries and thefts took place around town that day, with a particular spike in the Arlington Road corridor near Bethesda Row.

The good news is that the other incidents were isolated, rather than one neighborhood being targeted, as often happened in 2012.

Here is a list of crimes reported last Friday:

Burglary. 4600 block of Hunt Avenue.

Theft from vehicle. 4600 block of Nottingham Drive.

Theft of vehicle. Euro MotorCars, 7020 Arlington Road.

Burglary. 4900 block of St. Elmo Avenue.

Theft. 6900 block of Arlington Road.

Theft. 10400 block of Fernwood Road.

Theft.  5100 block of Nicholson Lane.

Burglary.  10000 block of Clue Drive.
