DAPPER BETHESDA BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT BY POLICE (PHOTO)

The PNC Bank at 10211 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda was robbed at 12:38 PM this afternoon.

Police are now asking the public's help in locating the suspected robber, pictured below.

He is described as a black male, 5’6″ to 5″10″ tall, and weighing 160 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a red shirt, black pants, and a black or gray hat.

Police believe he may have been involved in previous bank robberies in White Oak and Germantown.

Anyone with information regarding this bank robbery or the previous bank robberies and/or the suspect involved is asked to contact the Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment for this felony crime.
