OLD WEICHERT REALTORS BUILDING FOR SALE IN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)

A Dickensian building with peeling paint that once housed Weichert Realtors, at 8003 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda, is for sale.

Representing a renovation or teardown opportunity, the 1960 office building is directly adjacent to a public parking lot. Tax records indicate its current assessed value is $1,264,300.

    Maybe they could build a single-lane bowling alley there.

    That would be awesome! But probably never happen. It would be kind of cool to keep that old building up, but I suspect it's headed for the scrapheap.
