MORE VEHICLE BREAK-INS IN BETHESDA OVER HOLIDAY WEEKEND - BETHESDA CRIME UPDATE

More cars were broken into around Bethesda over the Labor Day weekend. The good news is that the incidents were isolated, as opposed to multiple thefts in one neighborhood, as we saw over the last 10 days or so.

Normally quiet Kenwood had its second recent crime, a burglary in the posh 5800 block of Brookside Drive on Friday, August 30.

Here is a list of auto break-ins from the weekend:

August 30

Vehicle burglary. 5600 block Springfield Drive (River Road corridor).

Vehicle burglary. 5000 block Acacia Avenue (just north of Cedar Lane, MD 355 corridor).

August 31

Vehicle burglary. 5100 block Wilson Lane (downtown Bethesda).

September 1

Vehicle burglary. 4600 block N. Park Avenue (Friendship Heights).

Keep vehicle doors locked, and remove valuables from the interior.
