HEAVY EQUIPMENT RETURNS TO FORMER BETHESDA BP STATION (PHOTOS)

Heavy construction equipment has returned to the former Bethesda BP station at the corner of Old Georgetown Road and Fairmont Avenue. Previously, portions of the station such as the pumps, underground fuel tanks, and gas pump canopy were removed/demolished. A residential building will be constructed on the site, but as of this morning, the classic service station structure remains intact, including some Coke units inside the otherwise empty garage.
