OLD BETHESDA POST OFFICE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)
Here's a look at the continuing interior renovation of the historic Bethesda Post Office, on Wisconsin Avenue at Montgomery Lane. The retail space is available for lease from Donohoe Development.
Robert, is there any chance the PO could be used as a tourist information-museum-giftshop? Its historical significance shouldn't be squandered, and it would give tourists, travelers, and visitors one-stop shopping for information. Lifelong Bethesda resident, here! Cindy
I would be interested in cooperating with Bethesda on a partnership with this. As an event planner this place is a dream venue and would stay a historic building. Do you think the county or Bethesda local Govt would entertain the idea of a planner running the booking of it as a rental space. As a 20 year experienced planner I could keep it running,, pay myself and get the Govr involved with a grant. I passed the building a few weeks ago and was surprised to see it. It's a gorgeous space for events.

ReplyDeleteIt certainly could, Cindy. I believe any type of retail business could lease this space (as long as they can pay the rent!).
