ICY CONDITIONS ON CAPITAL CRESCENT TRAIL BETWEEN BETHESDA AND DC
Cyclists using the Capital Crescent Trail report that the segment between downtown Bethesda and the Dalecarlia Reservoir (at MacArthur Boulevard at the D.C.-Maryland line) remains icy. Riders are advised to use caution.
That is a good question. You would think that the Trail should be given the same priority as roads and sidewalks. In all these years, I can't recall seeing anyone plowing or otherwise clearing the trail.
I ran on CCT on Monday. Still solid layer of ice at least 2 miles towards DC from Bethesda Ave.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the procedure for the county and DC to clear the trail of ice/snow?

DeleteAnd the same is true of the Bethesda Trolley Trail. Just left to melt...eventually.
