From the signs, it appears that the beer list will include Belgian/Belgian-style brews (Rodenbach, Hommel Bier), as well as German (Hofbräu München). That would follow the theme of the owners' other restaurants in the District.
This outpost is on Old Georgetown Road, near the Bethesda Metro Center. Click on the photos to enlarge for more detail:
This location has served me well - said no one ever. Best of luck in this spot! Hopefully when the replacement building for United Bank goes up and the nice shiny office building around the corner actually gets some tenants this spot will activate a bit.
ReplyDeleteSame location as the 3 failed bars before it?
ReplyDeleteThe most recent attempt, Dried Fried Wings, I hesitate to even include in the conversation.
ReplyDeleteIt is a unique spot. It is literally across the street from Metro, so that's a plus. But there's not much street parking around there.
Uncle Jedd's Gator alley [thimian] thai Box of dry fried wings... but St. Arnolds is awesome. Bethesda has horrible turnover but hopefully they can last over 18 months
ReplyDeleteI've tried every restaurant that went into this location. Ate a raw burger at The Box and never went back. Dry Fried Wings was nothing special. But I really like St. Arnold's so I think that they will be able to make that location finally work.
