RASH OF AUTO BREAK-INS ALONG RIVER ROAD + MORE - BETHESDA CRIME UPDATE

Warmer weather is bringing the crooks out in Bethesda. Three vehicles were broken into in the Brookdale/Glen Cove area that straddles River Road, right at the DC line this past Friday. With another incident reported there just a few days ago, residents in that vicinity should be aware that someone may be casing the neighborhood. Make sure your car doors are locked, and all valuables removed from the cabin. Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to the Montgomery County Police right away.

Drug arrest. Capital Beltway at Connecticut Avenue.

Vehicle burglary. 5300 block Sherrill Avenue (Brookdale).

Vehicle burglary. 4600 block Merivale Road (Brookdale).

Vehicle burglary. 5200 block Baltimore Avenue (Glen Cove).

Theft. Lord & Taylor at White Flint Mall.

Theft. 7100 block Democracy Boulevard.

Theft. 10300 block Westlake Drive.
