ReplyDeleteNEW YORK HAS "OCCUPY WALL STREET"
ReplyDeleteBETHESDA HAS "DO NOT OCCUPY THE MASSAGE PARLOR"

ReplyDeleteBethesda's "Massage Parlor Row" seems to be centered on the intersection of Old Georgetown and St. Elmo. Numerous "spas" on the last block of St. Elmo and on Old Georgetown immediately north have been busted in the past 15 years or so.
A few years ago I was in the county garage on that block on a Saturday night, and I saw a Russian lady in a mink coat, loitering by the door to the arcade, the reason wasn't clear. That's the closest I've seen to a streetwalker here.

ReplyDeleteIt's funny how genuine spam such as the one immediately above stays up nearly a day, while any reference to Bethesda's very best blogger gets deleted within 15 minutes.
ReplyDeleteIgnoring the "very best blogger" comment but you have a point. Bethesdanow actually references dyer all the time too.
DeleteGuys: you're arguing about which blog is your favorite that covers a small suburban city. No one cares!
