ARCLIGHT CINEMAS GIVES WESTFIELD MONTGOMERY MALL PATRONS BLACK BOX PREVIEW (PHOTOS)

ArcLight Cinemas, expected to open in late October at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, is giving mall patrons a sneak peek at their unique auditorium and lobby designs. A black box installed in a highly-traveled shopping area lets cinephiles look into the future of movies - literally. By looking into the display, you can see a miniature model of the new, black box theater experience, and the lobby.

    1. Uh, 11:39, it's a model inside the display. There aren't any people inside of it, much less millennials.

All millennials were at the Dave & Buster's. They didn't read this blog beforehand so they didn't know the Dave & Buster's was closed.

How will ticket prices compare to other theaters in the area?

  7. 6:39 Looking at the San Diego ArcLight location, a Saturday night 3-D movie ticket is $19.00 for Boxtrolls. A Monday night ticket for a non-3-D Guardians of the Galaxy was $13.50.

Only way I pay those prices for the same movies they show at the Regal is if Robert Dyer is working here in a tux and little bellboy hat.

HIRE ROBERT DYER. Every movie will be sold out.

Wow those prices are crazy. Regal Rockville does suck though, and downtown Silver Spring is just as much of a nightmare to deal with.
