HOLIDAY LIGHTS IN VETERANS PARK (PHOTOS)
The holiday lights are up in Veterans Park in downtown Bethesda. Pick up a holiday coffee from Starbucks across the street, and check them out at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues in the Woodmont Triangle.
Thanks for this post. I'm gonna hop in my car and go check out the lights. Nothing like 5 little trees with tiny white lights in the middle of a traffic triangle.
Robert Dyer rocks. He is unforgettable. Most of all, apparently, to you.
How hard you work, on a daily basis, to hate him. (Do you not realize: The opposite of Hate is not Love; it is Apathy. Hate and Love can be very closely related. And both require passion.)
The sad irony for you is that if you wish for Robert to be forgettable, you ought lead by example and simply forget him. Yet you can't.
I was going to cheekily suggest the 12-Steps meetings at the Del Ray Club on Clarendon; but I don't think it is useful to poke at someone that truly has a problem.
Seriously. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for most of us. Whatever your actual issue is... it certainly is not Robert Dyer. Please get some help with your raging angst, and let your heart grow 4x larger.
Life is short, and we should make what moments we have more, not less, precious.
