BETHESDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: HARRIS TEETER/FLATS AT 8300 (PHOTOS)

Construction continues at the 8300 Wisconsin Avenue site of the future Harris Teeter grocery store, and Flats at 8300 apartments. This will be the first Harris Teeter in Bethesda. A Ramada Inn hotel once stood on this site. The development is by StonebridgeCarras, and is being constructed by Donohoe.

      Will the NIH open space be accessible from this building? will that even be allowed?

    You need to take more photo sets that aren't in the dead of night or right at the crack of dawn or dusk.

    You're doing nothing to disprove the persistent rumors that you're a vampire.

    And you need the Vitamin D, too.

    The downtown really needs a park that is large enough for dogs to run around.
    These tiny pocket parks aren't going to get it done.

    Go to the south field of NIH. It's open to the public, and since it's a federal reservation, there are no county leash laws.

      It's not really sanctioned though - NIH just kinda looks the other way. Would be nice for a proper fenced dog park somewhere in Bethesda.
