BETHESDA CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: HOMELESS SHELTER TO RESTAURANT CONVERSION (PHOTOS)
The conversion of the former Catholic Charities men's shelter on Cordell Avenue to a restaurant space is making tremendous progress. Sigal Construction is the contractor, working from designs by Steven J. Karr, AIA, Inc.
Good! Maybe this will mean that I won't have to see that bum with the Irish accent around here anymore. Anyone who frequents the Bethesda Row area is I'm sure familiar with the Lucky Charms I'm talking about who's always begging for some cash. Then there's the tall, lanky older black dude who is always robotically friendly when begging. Off to the Pike with'em! The bums will always lose!
So interesting how they are going about this Reno. I don't know much about commercial construction but it's been fun to watch the wall go up.

DeleteI heard the county consolidated shelters. Greenberg raised the rent and they couldn't afford it is the word on the street.
