Friendship Heights Metro escalator modernization update (Photos) #WMATA #DC
An escalator between the bus bays and underground landing at the Friendship Heights Metro station is now scheduled to reopen on December 22 this year, according to WMATA. Isn't this the same escalator that was supposed to reopen in June of 2014 and November of 2014?
We all know that Metro lives in a space/time continuum where time goes much slower... Instead of reading June 2014, we should all read "Whenever Metro does the job"...

8:29: Yes, and "Pay higher fares for maintenance overhaul that has produced no tangible results, stations closed on weekends, and a passenger just died recently aboard a train, proving the increased safety within the Metro system!!" [vigorous applause from Robert McCartney and Dr. Gridlock]
DeleteIf you leave Metro and exit to Mazza Gallerie be sure to dodge the large trash cans catching the water dripping from the ceiling - what a dump!
