You know, it would be helpful to your readers to tell them exactly how the schedules are changing from the present schedule - specifically, that service on Friday and Saturday nights is being cut back from 2 AM to 12 AM. And this would give you the bonus of having a pretext to launch one of your "Hans Riemer's Moribund Nighttime Economy" rants.

    "Labels: ...hours, new schedule, schedule"

Just pick one label to cover these. Google hates keyword stuffing.

    1. 6:13: It also hates when other outlets "stuff" sponsored content into Google News, a violation of Google News policy. #Oops

Once a blogger, always a blogger> Never a photo-journalist, and surely not a real journalist. You leave Jimmy Olsen laughing in his grave.

Once a frustrated sports blogger; always a frustrated sports blogger ☺
If you can't make it in sports, there's always local blogging?

You mean the "outlet" [sic] which properly labels its paid content, or the one that doesn't?

    1. 1:53: No, the outlet that placed sponsored articles into the Google News system. I've never published any sponsored content on my site.

@ 9:47 PM - Scroll up to the first comment. Dyer won't dirty his hands by doing this kind of basic work.

    1. 4:30: I would think you would find it praiseworthy I didn't take the easy shot about the "nighttime economy" initiative failing. Riemer's stumbles aside, guess what - as of July 1, it doesn't matter what the old hours were. These are the new hours. Just because you slept through the announcement doesn't mean a few fake comments can reverse the facts. "Don't go to bed before the King."

Hey. This was the first week I have ever bothered to check those hours, and they are changing, so thanks for the update.
