Pet-a-palooza this Saturday at Westwood Shopping Center in Bethesda

The Westwood Shopping Center is inviting you and your pet to its first Pet-a-palooza this Saturday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Events and activities will include:


  • Ask a Vet 
  • Plinko for Prizes
  • Photobooth
  • Cornhole
  • Facepainting
  • Giveaways
  • Pet Treats


You can also win a year's supply of dog food. Hopefully you have a dog.

    Holding the event right in the middle of the entrance driveway does not seem like a good idea.

    I always wonder if dogs mind walking on hot blacktop pavement. Maybe it would be more comfortable for the pets to do this at a nice grassy area at Westbard instead.

    Dogs definitely are uncomfortable on black pavement. But they don't understand the concept of surface temperature, so they just stupidly walk on the pavement even when there is cooler grass just a few steps away.
