Minions menu for a limited time at MET Bethesda

MET Bethesda, the restaurant located across from ArcLight Cinemas in Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, is offering a Minions-themed kids menu for a limited time.

Coinciding with the release of the blockbuster animated film, the menu includes Mini Minion "Cheese Bugah", with cheddar cheese and served with French fries; Bob’s Peanutbutter-N-Banana Sammy with smooth peanut butter, sliced bananas and honey; SPaaagetti-n-meatballs, with all-beef meatballs and 12-hour slow cooked tomato sauce; and Chicken Fingars, served with French fries.

For dessert, there's a Chocolate Covered Frozen Banana with rainbow sprinkles. Dishes are priced at $7 to $8, and each entree includes a beverage and dessert.

Make it dinner-and-a-movie by ordering tickets from ArcLight Cinemas online.

The Minion Menu will be served through Labor Day at MET Bethesda.

That's a fun promotion! Nice to see retailers trying harder/smarter.

Can anyone comment on the food? I have not had it yet.

  5. Food is sub standard at best. Nothing whatsoever is enticing enough to return. People, including me, have commented on it here before. This movie promotion is a cautionary tale. This restaurant isn't at all tailored to children thus its not a good sign. Are they going to do this for the next big film? This is gimmicky at best and reveals their desperation in trying to attract an audience they clearly don't have now.

Place looks empty when I go by.

This article isn't an ad, but they should probably buy an ad on this site to get the word out. There's not much word of mouth buzz about this place even though huge crowds pass it going to the movies.

I feel bad it's always totally empty every time I am at the mall or theater. I hope they can survive.

"Bugah" sounds too much like "bugger". Does Dyer think that it's a good idea to say that around children?

Dyer does seems like a depraved maniac to me who would say something like Bugah/Bugger...
