Still nothing about White Flint... Robert have you heard the news yet?!
ReplyDeleteWhat did Dyer know about the White Flint story and when did he know it?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen so much anticipation for a Robert Dyer article.
ReplyDeleteWait...why are we so obsessed with White Flint? The mall has been crap for 20 years. (Honestly asking, not troll-baiting.)

ReplyDeleteAnd Dyer's shameful cover-up is underway.
ReplyDeleteWe're here for Dyer's original enterprising content, not links to blogger's warmed over Post articles.

8:07 AM"
It was fine until Borders left, which was only 4 years ago.
Wow way to remove my comment. Lord & Taylor won a case against the mall for 31M. If you aren't going to tell your readers at least let them discuss it amongst themselves.
ReplyDelete"We're here for Dyer's original enterprising content"
ReplyDeleteYou must have a lot of time on your hands.
Actually Dyer has had the best coverage of White Flint the past few years. He chronicled the mall's demise, and other news organizations even used his photos (sometimes without accreditation) in their own later stories on the same topic.
ReplyDeleteI'd venture to say Dyer's had the best reporting of anyone on White Flint... so his lack of coverage about the court verdict is surprising. I'm surprised he wasn't in the audience at the trial -- he covered this topic so well in the past.
@7:43 I agree. Robert seemed to totally own the coverage for a while!
ReplyDeleteJonathan O'Connell in the Post, and local TV news have covered the news of the verdict quite well. Most people have already heard the verdict through those channels. What I will do is provide the analysis and commentary that readers of my Dark Side of White Flint series are coming here for, rather than simply rewrite somebody else's article. There are a number of points that haven't been covered in the news reports that are worthy of analysis.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it. There was a lot of information revealed at the trial that the other news outlets never bothered to really analyze. I found some of the numbers and projections quite revealing.
ReplyDeleteI think he meant to say "The Dork Side of White Flint".
ReplyDelete9:35: Nope, it's the Dark Side of White Flint, an ongoing series that was recognized by the Washington Business Journal. And you are...oh yeah, that's right, some anonymous troll posting anonymous comments.
