Just a few months after high-end kitchen retailer Williams Sonoma opened at Federal Realty's Bethesda Row, equally-upscale kitchenware and cooking retailer Sur la Table is leasing a 5,824 SF space at the firm's Pike & Rose development. While Bethesda Row had Le Creuset, this is the first such retailer to come onboard at Pike & Rose, giving residents of the property's PerSei and Pallas apartments a place to stock their high-end kitchens.
Sur la Table started with one store in Seattle in 1972, and now has over 100 nationwide.
Robert, any interest in reviewing some of the sauces or demo food that William Sonoma sells?
ReplyDeleteI thought Pallas was a condo?
ReplyDeleteWonder if they will offer their cooking classes, which the D.C. store doesn't
ReplyDeleteRobert, I guess you have no interest in following the re-development of the former Syms' clothing store site, including the massive demolition of the building now underway. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention. Oh, and by the way did you notice that a new Safeway has opened just across the street. Jimmy Olson scooped you already.
ReplyDeleteWho is Jimmy Olsen? I'm so confused. Y'all speak in a code I'm not privy to.
ReplyDeleteOk, then. I'll stay in the dark.
ReplyDeleteA reporter for the Daily Planet and friend of Superman and Lois Lane -
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Ok JJ, I asked for that.
ReplyDeleteIma still gonna figure out y'all's code one of these days.....
