The new facade for the future Bethesda Chocolates at 8003 Woodmont Avenue has been revealed. Currently, the front is painted a chocolate color, and a new display window has been created. Heather Giuli, a local resident, is both the owner of the building, and the chocolatier.
Yay Heather! Can't wait for this.
ReplyDeleteNo snow visible. Obviously you took this picture no later than Thursday night. So why are you just posting it now?
ReplyDelete7:24: Uh, because the blizzard hit town, a more urgent news story at the moment?
DeleteEh he sat on a picture and update for a few days. Not such a big deal all things considered for Dyer.
Delete7:24 AM I doubt showing the store covered in snow would have worked better.
ReplyDeleteThink McFly, think!
7:24--it's a chocolate store. In Bethesda. First-worldy kind of stuff and kind of a little repeat of stuff already in town. Not really headline news kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteBetter question is why, if Dyer sucks so much, you spend so much time reading here?
All I can say is, this lady must have some bucks. She is the store and building owner and hasn't had successful businesses before or has she? Nobody just buys an entire building in Bethesda and decides to open a chocolate shop without some deep pockets. Good thing for her is when it fails, she still has a significant asset.
ReplyDeleteI believe she already does chocolate sales and is just taking it to brick and mortar.
