"Emergency" closes Starbucks in Westwood Shopping Center in Bethesda (Photos)

A sign was posted on the door of the Starbucks in the Westwood Shopping Center last night stating the store was temporarily closed due to an "emergency." This is definitely odd for a Starbucks. If it were a plumbing or electrical problem, wouldn't they just be upfront about that?

If it were a one-person operation, "emergency" might explain a closure, but Starbucks usually has multiple employees on site.

The sign did not indicate which day(s) the message applied to, either.

But what if it weren't a plumbing or electrical issue? What difference would it make?
