Tommy Joe's, the popular restaurant and bar at 4714 Montgomery Lane in downtown Bethesda, is now a little easier to find. That's thanks to this new projection image appearing on a nearby office building. Can you detect the difference in the logo in these two photos?

In this case it would be more like "I am with stupid".

ReplyDeleteIs Tommy Joe's allowed to do that? Is that a party wall or another property owner? I imagine if I shined a spotlight on my neighbor's house I might not be allowed to do that. Or maybe the other building owner doesn't know or mind.
ReplyDeleteAssuming Tommy Joe's is *paying* for the right to display its ad. Whether it is a billboard or a digital image, it is using the space of the adjacent property. Nice, noninvasive approach-- classier than a billboard and probably less expensive to fabricate.
