Pi Pizzeria coming to Bethesda

Barack Obama's favorite pizza is now coming to Bethesda. Pi Pizzeria will bring its St. Louis recipe pies to 7137 Wisconsin Avenue in April. They are now hiring for this location, which has been a pizza place before. It was most recently Pitzze.

Order the deep dish, of course! They also offer a thin, cornmeal crust. You may also know Pi Pizzeria as District of Pi in DC.

This is wonderful news! While we loved the old Haven when the twins were younger, it definitely lacked Obama's seal of approval. Now, we will be able to eat pizza and know that progressive values are packed into every bite. Best of all, every member of the staff, even the dishwashers, will have affordable health care due to the efforts of smart progressives who believed in Obama.

The only shame is we will not be able to toast a third term for Obama at his favorite pizzeria. We can hope that having more dining establishments favored by him will lead him to at least consider Bethesda/Chevy Chase as a place to settle the family when he retires from his presidency.

Very funny post. I'll take a deep dish, skip the Obama deal.

Pi is great; though wish they offered provel as a cheese option for their St. Louis style pizza.

Hey, that's actually a pretty good get for Bethesda! 99% of interesting places seem to open up in Silver Spring rather than Bethesda - glad to see that reversed this time.

This is a great get for Bethesda. Hope their draft list is comparable to the Penn Quarter location.

Was there for lunch on Monday April 25th and there needs to be some options for lunch. This area in Bethesda is a lunch area and even though the Pizza was OK there should be options for a lunch type of menu with appropriate costs.

4 guys splitting Pizza is difficult.
