Carluccio's review at Pike & Rose (Video/photos)

If it's good enough for Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston... Carluccio's is a favorite Italian spot for many celebrities in the U.K. Now it is here in Montgomery County.

Did Carluccio's, the new Italian restaurant and market that recently opened at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, live up to the hype? Watch my review and find out.

Carluccio's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Use the new parking garage (with the solar panels on top) accessible from Grand Park Avenue (turn right at the top of the street where it [temporarily] dead-ends) and Trade Street (turn left into the garage), and you will emerge right in front of the restaurant in Muse Alley. Parking is free for two hours.

Stop being mean. I really like these on-the-scene restaurant reviews. Robert, you should tell this place that your write up is the reason I am going to try it.

Where does Dyer get all this money to eat at these fancy restaurants?

8:40AM - what are you talking about? I'm 7:13 and asked a frickin question. What the hell is your problem? Can you stop being such a cyber douche for a few minutes or do you also do this face-to-face? Grow up.

I'm 7:09 and I am serious. We normally don't go to pike and rose but I plan on giving this place a shot. I love Olazzo but the variety of a second option might be nice.

Are you going to accuse hungry man or burger king of paying Robert for reviews next?

The meal purchased itself? The meal is a customer? What???

  13. 6:09: Is English a second language for you?

Well, most native English speakers would have said, "I bought/paid for my own meal." Not some weird passive construction that seems to suggest that you are trying to hide something.

@ Robert's 8:32 - so what if English is 6:09's second language? Do you even speak more than one language, Robert?
