It's been awhile since
my report of David's Tea's future arrival at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Now there's finally some signs of activity, with Coming Soon signage having been posted at the store's space. They'll be taking over the one just vacated by Lids, and they are currently hiring staff.
Great looking wall - all the color! Is Teavana still at the mall too? Two tea places? I drink a lot of tea but...
ReplyDeleteThe twins loved shopping at the Lids store. It seems like they would each come home from there with 3-4 hats a week. They were sad when it closed but since they know their hat sizes, they have been pretty happy buying online instead. I keep telling them to take it easy with some of the hat styles, they don't want to end up looking like Turtle from Entourage.
ReplyDeleteNow when it opens as a David's Tea, I will be the one who loves shopping there. It is a lot harder to buy something you need to taste or smell online. Artisan blended tea is and always will be a progressive staple.
The turnover never ends in that mall.
ReplyDelete@7:15 no matter how much tea we drink, there is always room for a David's at any progressive mall. Did you get their tea advent calendar last year? It was darling! Some of the teas were to die for!

David's is going to have a hard time when they open - so many Bethesdians are going to be pissed at them for removing that lovely wall.

3:58::: 11:03 pm here, what does the time I post have to do with anything?! Who pays that much attention to what time anyone posts a comment on a blog, Not everyone works 9 to 5 in Bethesda or anywhere else for that matter.
