Soup Up clears out early in Bethesda (Photos)
Soup Up Bethesda, which had previously announced it would be closing April 30, appeared to have started clearing out already yesterday. Seating inside had been removed.
No. It isn't it's just business and the food business fails at a higher rate than almost any other When you have no experience, a challenging location, and a food concept nobody wants or desires you're definitely not going to make it
I feel for the business owners. Imagine how much money they've actually lost. The food was not the issue there, it was the location and the exorbitant rent!! You had to cross a busy intersection to get there and you had no parking. What a terrible location for any business! I wish the owners good luck and hope they can recover from this.
I've spoken about the location in depth before, but the food and inexperience were issues too. The soup is good for sure, but many felt there needed to be sandwiches or other substantial food to go with the soup only concept, and the prices were too high.
Vacuum shop here we come.
ReplyDeleteI'm always sad to see a business close. No matter the circumstances.
