As a historic site, it cannot be demolished and replaced. But under certain guidelines, the existing store building could be expanded, as was recently shown with the former Bethesda U.S. Post Office by the Hyatt hotel.

Is that name correct? In my experience, Street Sense is the name of a newspaper that people use to try and wash your windshield at red lights in New York City.

DeleteThe problem with this store was the owner. Nobody from my neighborhood (blocks from the store)went there anymore because the dude behind the counter was such an a-hole to people trying to spend money. Coffee, takeout breakfast and lunch food, snacks for those who want to pop in walking by, and someone smiling inside would make a winning combination. We're all, quite frankly, sick of fighting the horrible parking at Wildwood just to get a sandwich.
