The leasing office for the Solaire Bethesda luxury apartments has opened down the street from the construction site. It is inside the 6900 Wisconsin Avenue building where the U.S. Post Office is located.
With 139 units and True Food Kitchen as its anchor tenant on the ground floor, the Washington Property Company-developed building is expected to deliver this fall.

ReplyDeleteDoes the leasing office have spots in parking lot next door?
ReplyDeleteProbably not. I believe that lot is for the building to the right only.
DeleteOh, it will be fun when "future residents" of the Solaire have their cars towed from that lot. They are one of the worst for towing around here.
ReplyDeleteThe parking situation sucks, but it is private property and illegally parked cars being towed is understandable (albeit cruel)
DeleteI'm just pumped for another opportunity to #PriceDyerOuttaBethesda
ReplyDeleteYeah, I used to watch it out my window everyday. Some people would go crazy. That poor parking guard.
ReplyDeleteAnd the tow trucks at 3:20 everyday. Ready to start street towing at 3:30:01.
I mean if they parked illegally and got towed, what excuse do they have?
DeleteI have no problem with towing per se, but the apportionment of the parking spaces makes no sense. The entire left side of the lot is reserved for customers of the mattress store, whereas Verizon only has a couple of spaces on the right side, and they get much more business. And then there is the issue of the US Post Office.
