Signage designating aisles, "farmers market" and salad bar - among many other categories - is being installed at the future Harris Teeter at 8300 Wisconsin Avenue. The first merchandise is being rolled into the store, as well. Prominent among the boxes are several containing New York Texas Toast Croutons.

    "Appears to be on schedule"

What do you know about how long it takes to build out a grocery store, Birdbrain?

What does on-schedule for August opening mean? August is one of our longer months. Remember?
How bout this? I talked to the manager at the Old Geo'twn Road store and they said they project an August 10 opening.

9:43AM Finding fault with our elected officials is not at all the same as relishing finding fault with the blogger.
    The first is responsible citizenship.
    The second is bullying.

Not really. He who casts the first stone.

Goes to character and quality and reliability etc of the person pointing the finger.

What happened Dyer, your invite to the party at The Flats get lost? It was pleasant not having you rat around the food.

Have you seen the back-ups the Harris Teeter project is ALREADY causing? There is no parking for delivery vehicles - seriously. They completely stop traffic along Woodmont several times a day, with long lines out to Wisconsin.
