Chuy's, the Mexican restaurant chain, is planning to open its first Montgomery County location at Federal Plaza this October. The restaurant has been under construction for the past several weeks; the target opening date was just announced by the restaurant's PR firm.
Chuy's replaces Ruby Tuesday at the Federal Realty shopping center. It will be located at 12266 Rockville Pike.
I drove by this the other day while going to Silver Diner in the same mall. If they can get some of the people going to Silver, they'll do well. Silver had a line out the door, and it's just an upscale diner.
ReplyDeleteAggressive schedule but I like it.

ReplyDelete7:39: I reported it first, you moron. The reporter who reports something first can't be "scooped."
DeleteThis was up first.
ReplyDeleteDyer scooped the other website on both major stories today. The apartment redevelopment and this.
ReplyDeleteThe guys on the other website probably got into the office, read Dyer's site, then wrote their own articles without attributing the scoop to him.
Typical for Hull's boys.
9:05am cut em slack. They're interns from Bumfuck U. and freelancers living in Frederick and elsewhere. Doing the best they can to keep up with Dyer.
DeleteI'd love to see the resumes of the local interns, bloggers and freelancers. Sadly, none exist. Dyer has a wonderful "about us" page.
Delete"Publisher/CEO Suburban News Network, professional recording artist, Montgomery County community activist, YouTube video creator."

LOL
2:32 what you quoted isn't the "about us" page in this site. Nice try.
DeleteNow, what do we know about other local bloggers, interns from Bumfuck U. and Frederick freelancers? Nothing...not even a photo.
This is all inside baseball stuff.
"Inside baseball"

Dyer's reporting: "This restaurant, which has been under construction for some time now, is going to open some time in the near future."
ReplyDeleteDyer's reporting says October. Specific enough for you?
