The process began yesterday, and will take about two weeks to complete, MCDOT's Department of Highway Services says. During the project, the road will remain open. However, single lane closures and parking restrictions will be necessary at times. Work will be done during business hours on weekdays. Watch for signs and flagmen if driving up Hampden in the next two weeks.

Robert, thanks for the regular reporting. I'd like to suggest adding a goole maps link to stories like this. There's a "short link" feature that makes the URL easy to cut and paste.
