Suicide Squad cocktails and collectible popcorn tub at ArcLight Cinemas in Bethesda (Video+photos)

Count on ArcLight Cinemas in Bethesda to enhance the experience of the biggest blockbusters, with their famous poster wall in the lobby, and cocktails inspired by the films. That is true of Suicide Squad, currently number one at the box office.

The lobby bar is offering 3 custom cocktail recipes based on the movie:
Beautiful Disaster
Beautiful Disaster

Based on star Jared Leto's two-word summary of his take on the Joker, this drink is made with Casamigos Blanco tequila, Midori liqueur, and lemon and lime juices. Having tried this one myself, I give it 5 stars.

Love Addiction

Surely Harley Quinn's choice, Love Addiction is a combination of Cruzan Aged White Rum, watermelon liqueur, lime juice and honey.

Allies

Johnny Walker Black, Carpano Antica, angostura bitters, and an orange slice are allies in this cocktail.
But wait, there's more. At the concessions stand, order your popcorn in a collectible tub emblazoned with characters from the movie.

Not sure if this is the right movie for you this weekend? Watch my review before ordering tickets.

Oh this does look good! Much more grownup than the ponytail. Kudos!

Say... didn't Dyer have more gray hairs in his previous photo?

Gray heads? You're thinking of the legacy local print media staffs.

The new look is cute! The old ponytail not so much.

Can we all chip in to buy Robert a comb? The "I just got hit by static electricity" look is really weird in this week's extreme heat and humidity.

12:24pm Can we also chip in for propecia for the legacy print media folks?

11:05am usually just wears his thong and bowtie when going to the movies in this heat. No need to be constricted with pants and shirt.

One-sided man thong! The perfect thing to wear to the premiere of a family movie.

Not bad. Better than Regal Bethesda by far, but more expensive. IPic is nice too!

Thanks for your crime report. Very informative. Can you do a story on how community can start neighborhood watch or get Montgomery county police to start driving by homes burgularies. 4 houses in my neighborhood in past month in Bethesda. In the 80s, 90s and up to 2010 not one! Something is going on and it's not being addressed . Cops think MS-13 from Prince George's.

    @ 10:50 AM - Robin Ficker.

12:15 Ficker is clearly in the heads of MoCo Dems at this point.
What that has to with this report, I have no idea.

WTF is the deal with Dyer's pants? They don't fit the size or shape of his legs, at all. And they haven't been ironed in three years. Did he get them from the remainder bin at The Salvation Army?

Remember that time Robert deleted all the comments that called him out for being a total moron?

  17. The only morons is the Friends of Failed Flint crowd that posts here.

Doesn't the guy that picks up Reamer's dry cleaning post here?

That may explain his slacks obsession.

Why would you think I have hate and that it might cloud my judgement?!!

I think I like iPic better for the outdoor urban environment around it. Seems to be a dearth of coverage on this blog though. Readers would love to hear about all the theaters in the area.

iPic parking is enough to keep me away. Narrow spaces, $20 for car dings.

Isn't it free for two hours or validated?

The spaces seem much bigger than Montgomery mall to me. I always get door dings at the mall. More idiot drivers seem to go there.
