The expected wall between the existing Gallery Bethesda luxury apartment tower and Phase 2 of the project hasn't been constructed yet, and no building has actually been smashed yet. But fencing, signage and equipment are moving into place at the future site of the 17-story residential tower where the old Miller and Long headquarters currently stands.
This is one of the few construction sites downtown to actually have the required sidewalk closure sign in place with reopening date (2018).
I can't wait until they build nice buildings like the Gallery along River Road. Shithole City, USA will become the Champs Elysees!
ReplyDeleteYes!!
DeleteWestbard is going to look so nice, it's such a dump now.

ReplyDeleteThey only have the sidewalk sign posted because the county came out to tell them to take the barricade out of the middle of the road. The workers thought that they could take half of the lane. Notice the white spray paint the county put down. Good job MoCo because it was like playing chicken for a while the first day.

ReplyDeleteWhat will you all do when Dyer turns off comments?
ReplyDeleteIt's inevitable.
You won't be able to post here. No commenting.
What will you do then?
@ 10:25 AM - What will YOU do when you have no comments to respond to?
Delete"No building has been smashed"
ReplyDeleteBut SmashBurger remains open.
Republicans and their walls....
ReplyDeleteNo biggie. Sometimes I don't bother reading the comments. Too much vitriol, not enough dialogue.
ReplyDeleteStill plenty of anger from Dyer's "competitors".
ReplyDelete1:29 can't possibly believe every negative comment is a writer for BM?
DeleteOr is it a PR person for Equity One?
Or is it a county council member representative?
Can't keep track here...
Plenty of anger from 2:40pm
Delete4:51 seems to confuse laughter and anger.
DeleteAnd yet still cannot explain the "lone troll" theory. :)
Ok, if Dyer isn't visiting his Austrian cousins, then where is he? Is he recovering from a bender after Trump's performance in the debate last night?
ReplyDeleteWhen is this project expected to be completed? The County has given sidewalk closure permits that extend beyond the expected completion dates for the projects in several instances. It is understandable for construction schedules to slip, but it's also not unreasonable to expect a sidewalk to reopen before completion, once work on the exterior is complete.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who could vote for Hillary is a moron
ReplyDelete@ 5:17 PM - Do you understand the concepts of sentences and punctuation?
ReplyDelete@ 5:17 PM - Orlando wasn't "bombed". Trump voters are such clowns.
ReplyDelete5:17 clearly has the IQ of the typical Trump voter. The words Hillary used in the debate were probably too big for him to comprehend.
