Sign installed at Chuy's at Federal Plaza (Photos)

The lighted sign has been installed on the front facade of Chuy's, the Tex-Mex chain restaurant opening next month at Federal Plaza on Rockville Pike. Some furniture is in place in the dining room, as well as some stringed, colored lights under the front overhang.

  2. A little garish, but this sort of thing does belong on the Rockville Pike more than it does on Bethesda row.

Except that Uncle Julio, on Bethesda Row, is horrible. Yes, Chuy's is also a chain but it's heads and shoulders above the others. If Chuy's were to have opened in Bethesda Row, which was rumored, it would have fit in well and would have crushed Julio.

The big story is that BB/BM actually DISCLOSED their connection to the venue.
    WBJ probably made them

When the club wasn't paying it's bills and going bankrupt, I wouldn't want to disclose ownership either :)

Robert and his shill are just jealous of what a real news site looks like...then again I'm sure it's all somehow Hans Riemer's fault

FYI While you were busy sleeping this weekend The Met @ Bethesda closed it's doors. But you knew that, and were just holding it in like a child with a precious terd.

11:08 AM Dyer needs more divorce attorney ads. There are so many on Bethesda Mag's site...most of their audience are trapped in loveless marriages.

@ 11:38 AM - Looks like the moribund iPic failed to bring enough customers to that restaurant.

Sorry I meant "moribund ArkLite", not iPic.

It's hard to get a seat for popular films on opening weekend at iPic. It's much easier at Arclight.
City Perch is better than Met..That's for sure.

Funny how Dyer writes about City Perch while ignoring iPic, isn't it?
