ReplyDeleteThree more tombstones in Dyer's War on Free Speech.
ReplyDeleteAs a frequent attendee, the trick is to find which restaurant offers the most bang for the buck. No single item can cost more than 5 (or is it 4?) tickets, so look for how much you can get for that. I know one of the Indian places last year was giving a rather large portion of curry for that price. Meanwhile, some other place was offering a single tiny slider for the same price.
ReplyDeleteAlso look for low ticket value items, like 1-2 tickets. You can often get a good deal like big spring rolls for that.
Anyone remember any of the "good deals" from last year?
What flavor of wings is Tommy Joe's serving? The lack of detail in this post is embarrassing, birdbrain
ReplyDeletePlease give Dyer some free food. His poor shill is starving!
ReplyDeleteThey should change thr name to Bad Taste of Bethesda.
ReplyDeleteA good day for folks living downtown to take a weekend getaway. Too many tourists on Saturday.
ReplyDelete8:16PM - I haven't been the past few years. It's good to know we aren't the only ones who make a math/science project out of it.
ReplyDeleteThey should change the name to "I Poped In Dyer's Lobster Roll!" With a name like that, it HAS to be good!
ReplyDeleteTo pope = to chill, relax
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, don't you hate when you think you have a spot-on post and then you make a spelling mistake and there's no "EDIT" button, and you just have to slink away, tail between your legs?
Sorry 8:13AM. We all feel your shame. Better luck next time.
Now that there's a post of Robert with his election sign, can we discuss the possible bias in "news" of this site run by a political operative of the Robert Dyer campaign?
ReplyDelete10:22 AM Can we also discuss possible bias in "news" of a local legacy print magazine, run by a friend/supporter of one of our fine councilmen?
ReplyDelete8:16 PM -- The event last year was cancelled. Thus, no "good deals" to be had.
ReplyDeleteHas Dyer reviewed the soup kitchen at the Lutheran church yet?
ReplyDelete11:13, I'd argue being a friend of a councilmen makes one much less biased than being an actual candidate. Especially a bitter candidate that has lost twice.
ReplyDeleteAnd he also lost his run for House of Delegates in 2006. And there are all of Ribin Ficker's losses, too.
