Streetsense marketing 3 retail spaces for lease at 7034 Wisconsin in Bethesda

The venerable retail center at 7034 Wisconsin Avenue has thousands of well-off people within walking distance, a prime location on a congested commuter route, and - three spaces available for lease. Bethesda's own Streetsense real estate firm is marketing the potential for these spots.

An 8000 SF ground level space has a lot of potential for storage and automotive uses, with its roll-up garage door access. A standard 1200 SF storefront on the access lane out front is also available, as is a second floor office space with Wisconsin Avenue access and visibility.

Isn't Audi there any longer? What about the Cleaners? Burgers and shakes across the street, or a Stromboli.

Is the Audi dealership moving? Wouldn't surprise me since that's a really cramped space to sell cars.

I heard Euro Motorcars wants to totally revamp their space on Bethesda Ave/Arlington Road and expand it extensively.

Why delete an innocent post about people in our community whose jobs will be affected by the merger? That does not seem right. I get it when people post very offensive or inappropriate things, but that was simply a question about an innocent topic that will have significant impact on Bethesda and all of Montgomery County's citizens.

  5. 7:40: The layoffs are NOT in Bethesda - they are in another state!! Impact here is zero. Not even a Bethesda story. As such, a post about it in my comment section comes across as spam to divert readers to another website.

But it's related to your obsession with poaching Fortune 500 headquarters from other states. The deleted comment was showing why that's a bad strategy for local business development.

  7. 7:54: As I mentioned, smart jurisdictions write protections into the deal that require a refund if the company leaves, or fails to create the promised jobs. This particular story is not a reason to not pursue Fortune 500 companies.

Buying Equity One cost $5 billion.

Buying Robert Dyer's soul cost a lifetime supply of Hostess Ding-Dongs.
