The remaining tenants of the Apex Building, which will be demolished in the coming months to make way for a new mixed-use development by Carr Properties and a Purple Line light rail station, were on the move Thursday evening in Bethesda. Moving boxes could be seen in the offices above from the street below.

Coldwell Banker had movers on-site, as it relocates to its new office at 4800 Montgomery Lane, Suite 100, effective December 27. They were forced to laboriously roll each piece of furniture across the atrium and down Wisconsin Avenue.

Meanwhile, the lobby of the vacant Regal Cinemas Bethesda 10 remained mostly intact, except the menu had been ripped out of the display above the concessions counter.

"Moving boxes in an office window at the Apex Building last night"

And one of these boxes "accidentally" fell out of said window, missing Dyer by inches.

"They were forced to laboriously roll each piece of furniture across the atrium and down Wisconsin Avenue."

As opposed to laboriously rolling the furniture to a moving truck, laboriously loading the furniture the moving truck, then laboriously unloading the moving truck, and laboriously rolling the furniture into the new office?
