You're a mean one, Mr. Garage: Wreaths missing on downtown Bethesda public parking garages this year (Photos)

While festive lights for the holidays can be spotted across downtown Bethesda, some Montgomery County-owned public parking garages are giving us the old "Bah humbug." The lighted Christmas wreaths ordinarily found on their facades are missing this year.

Good. Many better uses for the money. Taxes are all ready out of control, we need to reign in the frills. This is a small, very small, step in the right direction.

Blame the county council, they probably heard that the citizens wanted the decorations up, so they made sure they weren't put up this year. Lol.

Yep. I remember the joy Leventhal took in cutting back books at the library, trash pickup in parks, etc.

He's probably enjoying this reduction in holiday decorations.

    2. 1:17/2:06: That's right. Consider that we the taxpayers gave them more money than ever, and they actually reduce services.

    1. We all enjoyed a day off from the lone troll's comments. There obviously was some kind of all-day event or County Council retreat that kept you offline today, proving once again that almost all nasty comments are from just one guy.
