Peet's Coffee appears to have closed at Westfield Montgomery Mall (Photo)

From air wars to coffee wars: There may be another victim in the high stakes coffee battle royale at Westfield Montgomery Mall. The Peet's Coffee kiosk was closed and dark yesterday during normal operating hours.

Unless they did like a couple of other kiosks did recently at the mall - close temporarily without leaving a note to tell customers what is going on - the Starbucks factor may have been too much to overcome for Peet's. Still to come at the mall: Nespresso.

    Macy's is closing at Landmark Mall, it's just a matter of time before both Macy's and Sears close at MoCo Machine Mall.

      10:45 - Weird how comments on virtually any topic cause you to babble about Dyer's nemesis, no matter how irrelevant to the original comment. Maybe one of your "psychologists" could explain why you do that.

    The Limited definitely won't be reopening. The entire chain is closing. Another moribund mall-oriented chain bites the dust.
