Bethesda construction update: World of Beer (Photos)
World of Beer seems to be picking up steam on the build-out of its new Bethesda location, in the Bethesda Avenue side of Artery Plaza at 7200 Wisconsin Avenue. The restaurant had originally been scheduled to open before the end of 2016.
4:38: Good luck having 500 beers in stock under the MoCo liquor system. I've seen a number of reviews from the Rockville location state they didn't have certain ones that particular night. But they seem to be doing a good job navigating the monopoly, as every time I've actually been there myself, they've never not had a beer someone at my table asked for. So no cigar for Hans, but I'm very much looking forward to having this a few minutes away, instead of having to deal with the traffic to Rockville at Happy Hour.
This belongs in Wheaton or Silver Spring. Two dumps compared to Bethesda. Maybe Arnie could work there at the counter with his glowing personality and bring a lot of customers?
It absolutely stinks. They are better suited for Rockville than downtown Bethesda.
ReplyDeleteOnly 550 kinds of beer? MORIBUND. UGH, HANS.
ReplyDeleteBack to reality: hope this place doesn't steal too much of Tappd's business.

DeleteRobert Dyer has enough money to buy a beer? Seriously!?
ReplyDelete"The traffic at Happy Hour"
ReplyDeleteThe rest of us call that "evening rush hour". I guess we know what Dyer's priorities are.
