Bethesda demolition update: Connor Building (Photos)
Window shoppers at the Connor Building on Wisconsin Avenue are getting a grand view - of Woodmont Avenue. It's almost hard to tell what's holding up parts of the building from that angle, as demolition progresses. The site is being cleared for the new Marriott headquarters and hotel.
I meant to post here that no one will miss Philly Mikes. It was good when they first came but hasn't been in years.
ReplyDeleteLess and less of what I remember growing up in Bethesda...
ReplyDeleteInsulting Dyer's readers won't help your blog. Certainly didn't help BethesdaNOW.
ReplyDeleteThe staff and archives of BethesdaNOW have been at Bethesda Magazine for two years now, and are doing just fine. But what does this have to do with the demolition of the Connor Building?

8:54: Bethesda Now went out of business several years ago, and its social media accounts were purchased for $1 by Bethesda Magazine. Even with massive angel investor funding, it was crushed by my website. A defunct website isn't "doing just fine," knucklehead.
ReplyDeleteMore of Dyer's #AlternativeFacts.
ReplyDelete7:09: Once again your projection issues trip you up. It's the other website you get paid to spam for that regularly publishes fake news - "Bobcat in Bethesda!" (nope, he was still at the zoo), "gay men dance through Chevy Chase" (Chevy Chase DC, not MD), etc. I do provide an "alternative" on this site: the truth.
DeleteLooks like Robert Dyer is a faithful reader of Bethesda Magazine!
DeleteBethesdanow.com was deleted, but the putrid stench lingers like one of Aaron's burrito fueled farts.

ReplyDeleteAnd the bobcat alert!
DeleteHonestly, I thought cougars would be more up Steve's alley!
And now, news that the MoCo County Council has approved the Lyttonsville Development Plan.
ReplyDeleteDyer is getting scooped like a cat's litterbox today.
Somebody (10:38am) is very insecure about their blog!
Delete11:14am Like a bobcat turd, perhaps? :)
Delete10:38: Lyttonsville is in Bethesda? You need a new map, son. You must be a carpetbagger like your boss, Hans Riemer. He needs a GPS to find his way around the county.
Delete12:26PM I read it in the waiting room at my doctor!
ReplyDelete12:26 was talking to Dyer. Are you Dyer? Oh wait... yes you are, never mind.
DeleteI wish there was a way Google could affix a symbol, perhaps a black check mark, denoting fake news sites like Bethesda Magazine. This would distinguish them from real journalists, like Dyer and Turque. It would warn readers to not believe the crap Hull's interns and Frederick based freelancers churn out for their meager salaries.
