Water main break on River Road in Bethesda (Photos)

A water main break that began yesterday on River Road near Dorsey Lane caused a thin sheet of standing water on the state highway near the Capital Crescent Trail bridge. Given the extreme shift in temperatures, it was not a surprise. Hopefully WSSC has gotten to it, or will get to it before it worsens. The break was in the westbound lanes of the road.
