Class 520 Thai ice cream rolls moving in, Ten Thousand Villages moving out in Bethesda (Photos)

Two businesses went in two separate directions yesterday at the Shoppes of Bethesda on Elm Street. Class 520, a Thai ice cream roll shop, was moving in, as Ten Thousand Villages was being emptied out after closing. This is the second location of Class 520, which started with the original Rockville store.

    Where does the name "520" come from?

    Now if it was "420" I could understand.. but 520?

    10,000 Villages is closing dozens of stores across the country in a restructuring effort. As much as you might like to believe, it has nothing to do with the council. Please save your snark for their real misdeeds of which there are many.

    So, the closing of the one is the fault of the County Council but the opening one has nothing to do with it?

    Though if the ice cream shop is open late, that could be counted as a win for Hans and the Nighttime Economy!
